GWD’S MOTOR GROUP Teretonga Park Sprint
This event is a Sprint run by Queenstown Car Club on Saturday the 29th of May 2021 at Teretonga Park Raceway, Invercargill.
It will be held under Motorsport New Zealand’s National sporting code and its appendices and schedules,
Appendix 2, schedule A & Appendix 5, schedule C.

- The Event
Venue: Teretonga Park
Length: Sprints 2.7km, maximum: 4 timed laps per session
(if not done previously)
Entry fee: Sprints: $100
(including transponders )
Classes – B 0 – 1600
C 1601 & over
- Competitor requirements
Drivers must hold a minimum current drivers licence or MSNZ M licence.
- All competitors and passengers must wear cotton protective overalls or better approved garments. Any clothing worn under overalls must be either cotton, wool or an approved garment, this includes socks.
- All competitors and passengers must wear complete covered in footwear of leather or approved materials.
- All competitors and passengers must wear protective helmet.
All passengers must sign a passenger declaration form and passenger in cage vehicles only.
These requirements are in line with the new amendments to the clothing changes by MSNZ.
- Vehicle requirements
All Vehicles will go through scrutineering. Vehicles must be in a warrantable condition.
Standard road tyres (DOT rated) only will be permitted. No slicks permitted
Entries will be accepted prior to race day and payment made also prior to event day. Spaces are limited so please let us know as soon as possible.
Acceptance will at the clerk of the Course’s discretion.
Last minute entries will be considered if there is space but please note additional costs may apply.
Event organizers reserve the right to refuse any entry in accordance with the prescribed provisions of the National Sporting code.
In signing the entry forms, competitors are deemed to fully understand the relevant
articles and regulations as contained in the Motorsport NZ manual.
Track Access will be strictly controlled from the pit area.
All cars will remain in the pit area until directed on to the circuit.
Competitors are responsible for their crews and guests at all times. Please ensure all non-competing persons are within designated spectator or pit areas.
Alcohol will not be permitted.
Drivers briefing IS compulsory and a roll call of entered drivers will be taken.
Toilet facilities are available onsite
Bring your own food and drink.
