Highlands Motorsport Park Sprints
This event is a Sprint run by Queenstown Car Club on 24th March 2019 at Highlands Motorsport Par, Cromwell.
It will be held under Motorsport New Zealand’s National sporting code and its appendices and schedules,
Appendix 2, schedule A & Appendix 5, schedule C, and H.

Venue: Highlands Motorsport Park

Scrutineering/Documentation 11am (To be confirmed place)
Start: 1 pm
Entry fee: $100 for QCC
$120 for Non QCC affiliated Members
Must be a member of a club.

- Competitor requirements
Drivers must hold a minimum current drivers license or MSNZ M license.
- All competitors and passengers must wear cotton protective overalls or better approved garments. Any clothing worn under overalls must be either cotton, wool or an approved garment, this includes socks.
Leather or approved footwear must be worn.
- All competitors and passengers must wear complete covered in footwear.
- All competitors and passengers must wear a protective helmet.
- All passengers must sign a passenger declaration form and passenger in caged vehicles only.
- These requirements are in line with the new amendments to the clothing changes by msnz.
- Vehicle requirements
All Vehicles will go through scrutineering. Vehicles must be in a warrantable condition.
The following tyres are permitted on All vehicles. Standard Road tyres, Dot Rated Semi Slick Tyres.
The following tyres will be permitted on Fully Caged Vehicles, Slick Tyres as permitted in Appendix 2, Schedule A, Section 4.9 of the Motorsport Manual.
Entry will be accepted until Wednesday the 20th of March 2019. Late entries may incur additional fees and will be at the Cotcs discretion.
Acceptance will at the clerk of the Course’s discretion.
Event organizers reserve the right to refuse any entry in accordance with the prescribed provisions of the National Sporting code.
In signing the entry forms, competitors are deemed to fully understand the relevant
articles and regulations as contained in the Motorsport NZ manual.
Track Access will be strictly controlled from the pit area.
All cars will remain in the pit area until directed on to the circuit.
Competitors are responsible for their crews and guests at all times. Please ensure all non-competing persons are within designated spectator or pit areas.
Alcohol will not be permitted until the overall final run has taken place.
Drivers briefing IS compulsory and a roll call of entered drivers will be taken.
Toilet facilities are available onsite at the Go Kart area.
Food is available for purchase from the Nose Restaurant or Pitstop Cafe in the museum
