This event is a 2.7km sealed Hill Climb which will be run by Queenstown Car Club on Saturday 1st of December 2018 on Coronet Peak Rd, Queenstown. Signage will be visible from the base of Coronet Peak Rd. It will be held under MotorSport New Zealand’s National Sporting Code and its appendices and schedules, particularly;
Appendix 2, Schedule A and AA for Vehicle and Driver Requirements.

Scrutineering/Documentation Friday 30th November 5.30pm to 7.30pm (Placemakers yard Queenstown)
Saturday 1st of December 8am to 9am
Drivers Briefing 9.30am at the start line area and drivers are required to be in race overalls, with their Race car ready to start. Indian File will begin 9:40-9.45, with a 10:00am start for first run.
Entry fee: $130.00 inc GST must register by Monday 20th November 2015 at 5:00PM. Pre- registration is essential. Late entry fee of $150.00 may apply.
Payment must be made prior to the event.
Entries Entries are to be made out on the correct Motorsport entry form and to be deemed to be valid must be complete in every detail and accompanied by the appropriate fees. Acceptance will be at the Clerk of the Course’s discretion. Late entries may be accepted up until the start of the event at the Clerk of the Course’s discretion. Event organizers reserve the right to refuse any entry in accordance with the prescribed provisions of the National Sporting Code.

Car drivers Please indicate on your entry if you are a two driver car, so we can separate you in the start order.
Classes – A – 0 – 1300cc
B – 1301 – 1600cc
C – 1601 – Over
D – 4WD
Competitor Requirements: Drivers must hold as a minimum a MSNZ Clubsport license and be a member of an affiliated Motorsport club. At the Clerk of the Course’s discretion Closed cars with Roll Protection, compiling Safety Harness, Seat and Interior may carry a passenger – they don’t require a MSNZ license but must sign an indemnity form.
Vehicle requirements All Vehicles will go through scrutineering. Scrutineering will be held at Placemakers, Glenda Drive, Frankton Industrial, Queenstown between 5.30pm – 7.30pm on Friday 30th Nov 2015 or, if required at the event, you need to book with the Secretary in advance due to the time and space available is limited. The Saturday Scrutineering is limited to 20 cars. If you require Saturday scrutineering then booking this is ESSENTIAL email@example.com
Remote scrutineering can be arranged but must be in conjunction with the Clerk of the Course.
Entries Acceptance will at the clerk of the Course’s discretion.
Event organizers reserve the right to refuse any entry in accordance with the prescribed provisions of the National Sporting code. In signing the entry forms, competitors are deemed to fully understand the relevant articles and regulations as contained in the Motorsport NZ manual.
Pit Area The Main Pit Area will be below the start area, down to the Road Closure at the Skippers Road turnoff. The road must be kept passable at all times.
This will be a first in first served basis. You must Angle Park in the two areas on the Left and right at the start line. There is space for your race car and 1 support Vehicle parked north south. If you choose to park on the road please park on the Hill side of the road in a parallel park format, still 1 support vehicle per race car.
You can choose to park in the Secondary Pit Area Car Park #4 or Car Park #5 at the top of the Hill, or if you arrive once the Main Pit area is full then you will have to park in the secondary Pit Area Car Park #4 or Car Park #5
Trailers will not be allowed in the Main Pit area area but can be parked at the top of the road in car parks #5 #6. We may need to use Bus Park #3, however this is on the Race track and you will not have any access to the trailer until the event has finished.
Prizegiving. Prize giving will be held at Swiss Bel Coronet Peak Hotel following the end of racing, All Welcome.
